Bali Hope Ultra Marathon Team

In partnership with Bali Hope, the 2nd Annual Bali Hope Ultra Marathon is a fundraising activity for the Bali Children Foundation. Taking place on 25 May, this overnight coast-to-coast double marathon (84km)  will take runners through more than 1500m of elevation. This year, the bar has been raised at every level, including the fundraising target, which if reached will put 100s of children through school and transform an entire community forever. Australian School Raises Money for New Initiative

Students at the Australian Independent School in Bali helped raise money for the Hi Tech initiative with a hugely successful walkathon. Hi Tech is a new program, which provides geographically isolated students with app-based learning on tablets. Mentoring the Next Generation

Education is only one part of bringing an economically disadvantaged community out of poverty. Helping students navigate the job market so that they can land fulfilling careers is an integral part of what Bali Children Foundation does. Marg awarded Order of Australia Medal

We are so happy to announce that Bali Children Foundation Founder Margaret Barry was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for her services to education in Bali on 26 January 2018, the country’s Australian Day.  This is an extremely prestigious award granted to only a very few Australians.
