EFL & STEM Teacher - Nusa Lembongan (Full Time)

The Bali Children Foundation (BCF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality education and support to underprivileged children in rural Bali, Indonesia. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering children to reach their full potential.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team and teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to underprivileged children in rural Bali. As an EFL teacher, you will play a vital role in developing students' English proficiency, while as a STEM teacher, you will ignite their curiosity and passion for these important subjects through project-based learning tailored to the needs of the community.
You will be responsible for helping deliver engaging and interactive lessons, fostering a love for learning, and helping students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and age-appropriate EFL and STEM lessons to children from diverse backgrounds.
Employ a variety of teaching methods and techniques to cater to different learning styles and needs.
Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to improve their learning outcomes.
Report and communicate student progress and performance to BCF management, relevant class teachers, and school headmasters to help students with their learning and development.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and approaches including training from BCF teacher facilitators and/or other relevant professionals.
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate the cultural and linguistic context of rural Bali.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, English Language Teaching, or a related field.
Experience in teaching EFL or STEM/STEAM-H (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Humanities) subjects is desirable.
Strong understanding of child development and pedagogical principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to challenging and diverse teaching environments.
Passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
Domiciled in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali at your own expense
Willing to be placed in Nusa Lembongan
