Marriott's recent Community Relief and Run to Give event has provided a donation of IDR68,854,000 (A$6,854) to Bali Children Foundation. The funds will be used towards water projects in North Bali schools and school fee assistance for disadvantaged students and families impacted by Bali's COVID recession.

Bali's Marriott International Business Council has an important history of support for the Bali Children Foundation. To date, their Run to Give and other fundraising events have updated two very needy schools in Songan, East Bali and funded water access & facilities for 6 North Bali Elementary Schools.

Beyond school upgrades, Marriott International's Annual Golf Event is a major contributor to scholarships for Tertiary Hospitality students. 40 under-resourced youth have had the opportunity to study at accredited Hospitality colleges and intern at some of Bali's best hotels including the Bulgari Resort Bali, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort and Spa, The Westin Resort and Spa Nusa Dua, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort and many others. The students receive superb training and a wonderful start to their careers thanks to the efforts of the Marriott International Business Council.

Over the last four years, Marriott International has contributed close to $A100,000 towards Bali Children Foundation's work, impacting elementary school children and providing a path to employment for so many of our year 12 graduate under-resourced youth.
