Paul obtained his first Budget franchise in 1986 and now represents the largest franchise holder within the Budget System in Australia. He is currently Chairman of the Budget Licensee council.
On the Board of several NFP organisations, Paul was Chair of Life Education Victoria for over ten years. He is on the Board of Directors for the Order of Australia Association and Box Hill Hawks Football Club. Paul is also involved with his local church and Rotary.
He is a valued and committed board member of Bali Children Foundation, traveling frequently to Bali to assist with projects.
Margaret Barry OAM DSJ - Founder
Margaret Barry is the inspirational founder and leader of the Bali Children Foundation. Based in Bali since 1990, Margaret owned and managed a highly successful fashion, gifts and homeware business, MAGG Bali.
Margaret has considerable experience in vocational and educational projects throughout Bali, and it was her work in these fields which led to the establishment of the Bali Children Foundation.
Since 2002 that work has grown to cover a wide range of educational opportunities for children of remote areas in Bali and nearby islands.
Mike Dolbey - Founding Board Member
Mike Founded and was Managing Director of Visual Entertainment Group for twenty years. VEG was the largest independent producer and distributor of videos and DVDs to Australia’s major retail outlets. The company held a record licensee agreement with the Australian Football League for this period. Other notable licenses were Australian Rugby League, Cricket Australia, Australian Olympic Committee, US TV series Danielle Steele and Crime Scene: CSI.
During the 80's Mike was responsible for helping raise $100,000 for Variety Club Victoria through 'What's on Video", a magazine he was director of.
Warwick Purser - Development & Heritage
Warwick Purser is Australian born but an Indonesian citizen by Presidential decree granted in recognition of his work in supporting rural communities by employing them in the development of the craft. Generally known as the guru of the craft industry and the pioneer of export of these products in large volumes to the international market Warwick in 2013 was also the first Australian to be given the Advance Award, an award for the Australian expatriate citizen making the biggest contribution to the overseas country in which they are domiciled. Warwick continues to work on community projects, particularly at the village level, with children and education programmes focused on their local culture.
Daniel A. Bowman - Legal & Financial
Daniel A. Bowman is an American corporate lawyer who has resided in Indonesia and worked on diverse business projects for more than 30 years. Dan was a long-time member of the Board of Managers of AMINEF (the Fulbright scholarship program in Indonesia) and serves as an applicant referee, was a Board Member of the Jakarta International School, founded the AIDs Awareness and Education Program, formed and advised the LPMAK, the largest charity in Indonesia, currently advises several charitable Yayasans in Indonesia, and volunteers legal and financial expertise to numerous charitable causes throughout Indonesia. Dan also works for environmental improvement through private market mechanisms. Dan is a believer in the power of noble intentions and good organization to overcome complacency and effect change.
